Perfection is not an accident. It is a decision.

You remember the day you first held the key in your hand. We take your car back to that moment — and protect it. Paint correction. Precision detailing. Ceramic protection. Your car. Our undivided attention.

The approach

Your car is not washed. It is assessed, corrected and protected.

You feel the difference before you can explain it: when the reflection stands still and the paint has depth again. That is why every project starts with an assessment — and only ends when the light has nothing left to criticise.

In detailing, quality is measured by one thing: the clarity of the reflection.

Before / After

The light tells the truth.

Under a point light source, wash marks and swirls become visible — after correction, only the reflection remains. Drag the slider.

The craft

Machine guided by hand. Results checked in the light.

There is no button for perfection. There is only pass by pass, polish by polish, checked under the inspection lamp — until the reflection is right. On demanding projects that means two to three stages. And the patience to skip none of them.

The GMK Spirit

What we stand for.

We look for the special. We strive for the unmistakable.
We make no compromises and never settle for the ordinary.
So that in the end something exceptional is created — down to every fibre, into the smallest detail.
Top performance is no accident. It happens where craft meets attitude: the GMK spirit.
Personal drive. Since the very first car.
The Story Behind
Joachim Kern bei der Lackpolitur unter Prüflicht

How one passion became two professions.

It did not start with a company. It started with an obsession: cars — and the inability to accept a scratch that others could not even see. A bucket, polish and patience grew into a standard that got around.

Through this passion I met entrepreneurs early on who shared it. They entrusted me with their cars — and watched how the work was done: pass by pass, checked in the light, no shortcuts. It was not the result alone that convinced them. It was the way it came about.

Years later, with experience as a CFO and advisor, those same entrepreneurs remembered: whoever works on a car like this, works on everything like this. They brought me into their companies — to apply the same principles there: precision, honesty, no compromises.

And so one thing became the other. Two houses, one standard.

At work

No posing. Just polish, patience and light.

Paint Correction

Every wash mark is a small reminder that someone was careless. We take them back — controlled, machine-polished, in exactly the number of stages the condition requires.

  • Reduction of wash marks, swirls and holograms
  • More gloss, clarity, reflection and depth
  • Preserving paint thickness before aggressive defect removal

Detailing & Reconditioning

The feeling of getting into a perfectly detailed car never wears off. Exterior and interior, every surface treated correctly — until it feels like a handover again.

  • Exterior, interior, wheels, glass, plastics
  • Scope defined by vehicle, condition and package
  • Documented results instead of superlatives

Protection

Ceramic Coating

A car's best moment does not have to stay a moment. After full preparation, the ceramic system protects suitable surfaces — in the comprehensive package, glass and plastics as well as paint.

  • High-quality ceramic surface protection
  • Hydrophobic, easier to clean, less contamination
  • Durability depends on use and care — no blanket promises

Motorcycle Detailing

A motorcycle hides nothing — every bolt, every surface is exposed. That is exactly why we love this work: depth of detail in the tightest spaces, visible from every angle.

  • Paint, carbon, metal and plastics treated correctly
  • Detailing of visible engine and technical parts
  • Protection for heavily used surfaces

Some results need no explanation.

True stories

Three moments that explain more than any brochure.

The parking touch

Two cars. One contact. Two outcomes.

A light touch while parking. The uncoated car lost paint. The ceramic-protected one next to it: the marks polished out completely.

Result: no respray needed.
The endurance test

Four years. 80,000 kilometres. Driven daily.

Ceramic-protected from day one — through rain, road salt and summer heat. Not a show car, but a daily driver in real life.

Result: that shine, after all these years.
The transformation

Seven years old. Never detailed by hand.

Only wash tunnels, the paint full of holograms and scratches. After a complete interior and exterior detail with ceramic coating, the question was no longer whether detailing a used car is worth it.

Result: better than at delivery.
The process

Six steps. One system.

No recipe book — but a sequence proven on every vehicle.

01

Assessment

Evaluation of paint condition, defects and materials — the basis for scope and quotation.

02

Preparation

Thorough, gentle washing and decontamination as the foundation for all further work.

03

Paint correction

Machine polishing in as many stages as the condition demands — checked under inspection lighting.

04

Surface preparation

Complete degreasing and inspection of every surface to be protected.

05

Protection

Ceramic protection for suitable surfaces — paint, glass, plastics, depending on the package.

06

Handover

Final inspection at the vehicle and practical care advice — so the result lasts.

Pricing

The price follows the condition — not the other way round.

Vehicle size, paint condition, desired level of correction and scope of protection differ from car to car. That is why there are no off-the-shelf flat rates — only a transparent quotation after assessment.

As a rule of thumb, a high-end coating project often equals about one percent of the car's value — protection for the other ninety-nine. And the paint is the one surface everyone sees, and the one you can never reorder.

Send a few photos and a short description — you will receive an honest evaluation of what makes sense and what it costs.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

How long does a detail take?
Depending on condition and scope, between one and several days. Multi-stage paint correction followed by coating takes time — and gets it. You receive the exact timeframe with the quotation.
Is it worth it on a brand-new car?
Especially then. New vehicles often show wash-tunnel or transport marks. Optimising and protecting the new condition right away secures the best possible starting point for the years ahead.
Can every scratch be removed?
No — and nobody here claims otherwise. What can safely be corrected depends on the depth of the defect and the thickness of the paint. Preserving the paint always comes first. The assessment shows what is possible.
How do I care for the car after coating?
With gentle hand washing and suitable products — you receive specific care advice at handover. The durability of a ceramic coating depends largely on use and care.
How is the price determined?
Projects start from €1,200 excl. VAT; in practice most fall between €1,200 and €2,000 excl. VAT. The binding final price follows the assessment — based on vehicle size, condition, correction level and protection scope.
How do I get an appointment?
By e-mail or Instagram message — with vehicle details, a short description of the condition and ideally a few photos. You will receive an evaluation and a proposed date.
